This is my local so I was interested as to what the refurb and change of hands would be like. It didn’t disappoint – the décor is stylish and the food menu is varied and appealing. The drinks menu has a unique touch and specialises in lots of different types of gins; being a gin drinker I appreciated this and was keen to give some of them a try.
I have only eaten once here and tried the all day breakfast for £7. It was slightly disappointing – it took quite a long time to arrive and, when it did, it was slightly cold. Personally, I thought it had far too many beans and not enough of the yummier things such as sausages, eggs, bacon etc.
On the contrary, friends have been very impressed with their lunch and dinner menus so I will definitely go back and give them a try.

I noticed this bar had changed hands last week so went in for a drink with a friend last night. Admittedly we didn't have anything to eat, so can't comment there. The menu looked appealing, if perhaps slightly pricey for bar food in this part of town.
It has hardly changed from the Human Be-in. New decor, but the layout's identical - it still doesn't have much atmosphere and we left after one drink and went to Assembly. The most obvious and least welcome change is a huge TV on the wall on the left as you enter. Last night it was playing the Rangers game at high volume. Really classy.
I might go back some time and try the food, but I'm not in a hurry to. I'll update my review then.

I went past this new place at the weekend. Seeing it was very busy went in with my partner. We had a meal and a few drinks. I had the koftas, my partner had the steak. Didn't wait very long at all and the food was fantastic. Shame the service let them down.

Delicious food menu at great prices. Haven't experienced a delay with the food or bad service. Chilled out and unpretentious. Ideal place for drinks or food, day or night.

Food was cold when arrived after a long wait. Did not accept my spree discount voucher even though I showed them when I first ordered, apparently I had to buy something on the menu at £8 even though most places will discount the value of £8 from the bill.
The only saving grace was their Sky HD Football.

Amazing how this place has been revived. Really stylish and comfortable with a wide ranging food & drinks menu. Lots of choices well prepared and presented. Great eats and good value, I'll certainly be back.

Wow - what a change.
Having studied at George Sq just over the road for four years I was used to the drab and unimpressive Human Be-In, and kept with it for convenience alone.
What a relief that someone finally saw the potential in the venue and gave it the make over it deserved. Everything from the service, the food and drinks menu has improved ten fold and this laid back and welcoming venue is certainly close to becoming my new home from home!!!
