This place does good pub food but nothing special. They are able to serve a large number with little or no notice (we went last week with 20+ of us) and they coped well. The burgers are a good choice as are the steak pies which always tend to sell out on a Friday. The pub is a traditional one which has managed to escape being modernised which is plus point for it. Would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good traditional pub lunch.
