Completly agree with everything Naomi said previously. Have just been here for a leaving lunch and it is a really good wee place. The service was attentive and the food was fab - business lunch is £5.50 which includes a starter, dumplings and 2 side orders. Be warned at the price of beer, it comes in a massive pint bottle that resembles a bottle of wine but costs about £4.70/ bottle, we were slightly stung.
Overall good though and food is excellent value for money!

One of the best Chinese in town.
The food is great taste wise but also because it is quite different from other countless chinese restaurants. Here there are no chow-mein or crispy duck but a massive list of dumplings. There are also specialities that I've never seen before such as cucumber salad (in Chinese restaurants?), plate of roast garlic cloves with cumin seeds, eggs in green tea, etc... fantastic!
The decoration is awful but really typical from traditional Chinese restaurants and, at last, the (non-Chinese) staff are really friendly and quick.
Highly recommended on a low budget. We spent £50 on dinner for 3 people including wine.

This place is great! Okay, so the decor is not amazing but the prices, food and hospitality are great. I would totally recommend Chop Chop for the work lunch crowd, those with kids (as there's plenty of room) or those just wanting to eat out but not pay a fortune. The key is keeping the food simple and cooking it well. The dumplings are boiled or fried, good portions and taste delicious. You essentially season yourself with your own soy, chilli and/or garlic. Even if you have a drink with your meal the prices are kept down and the staff are always very polite. I have been here a number of times now and would go again for non fussy meal out! I think, weekdays lunch, was about £5-7 each.

The decor resembles the forecourt of a chinese petrol station but the food is more akin to that which the Hashshashin would expect for murdering oriental princes on their way to heaven (im'sh'allah). The dumplings are juicy and squirt lewdly across the chin on entering and the aubergines are so soft as to be almost pornographic. I eat here so often it has become a joke amongst my friends. Hail Roy! He's the boy!
