My favourite restaurant in Edinburgh without a doubt (and I've had the tofu and noodles too!). I'm a veggie and have eaten at most of the veggie restaurants in Edinburgh, but this takes the biscuit. The staff are lovely, and they can give you good info on all the dishes, because they eat them too. Heaven! :)

Best vegetarian restaurant in Edinburgh.
I am not a vegetarian but David Bann's is an example of how good a vegetarian restaurant can be when they avoid the usual nut roast cliches and cook imaginative and tasty food which just happens to be vegetarian. Nice layout, lighting and atmosphere too and good service. Main courses are around the 10 to 12 pounds mark and starters from 3.50 so not the cheapest vegetarian restaurant in Edinburgh but worth paying extra for the quality of food and attractive surroundings. Excellent panacotta for desert. :) They also do a weekend all day brunch for six pounds which makes it a good place to browse the Sunday papers while you gather the enrgy for a walk up Arthur's Seat.

A wonderful restaurant. As a meat lover, I was worried I'd be disappointed, but as it turned out I greatly enjoyed my meal - and would go back any time. It is apparent how fresh the ingredients are and they stay away from the cliched boring vegetarian options.

I also had one of the best meals ever and I'm not vegetarian but Mexican does it every time along with fruit smoothies. Would definitely go back to this restaurant.

This is my favorite restaurant in Edinburgh (and I'm not vegetarian). Each time I have been the meal has been really great and the menu has a wide choice of really interesting dishes. It is not at all would you expect from a typical vegetarian restaurant and beats any of the others in Edinburgh hands down. The cocktails are also fantastic!

I may have had the best meal of my life here: Noodles with tofu and some odd vegetables. A very smart atmosphere for a vegetarian restaurant with good lighting. The service was very professional. A bit pricier than other vegetarian restaurants but definitely worth it for an occasional treat.
