I went there today for lunch as we were looking for somewhere we could sit outside in the nice weather. The location is idea especially in nice weather as you can sit outside overlooking the boats.
Being a big fish fan the menu is great - with just about any kind of fish cooked anyway. Our waitress was brilliant - very good knowledge on any questions we had about courses and had clearly tried the menu so was able to speak about the menu.
Starters pricewise are around about £6-8. I had the classic smoked salmon which was great, a bit on the small size and doesnt come with any bread or anything but you do get bread on your table. For mains I had the king prawns in chilli and lemon - these were amazing. You get 5 king prawns in their shell on a skewer as well as a small portion of chips, you also have the choice of homemade mayo or another sauce with them. The cost of these were £12 - this is a base for most mains for lunch. They do do a 2 course lunch for £12 which would be good value if you were looking for a bargain but it is a limited menu so you miss out on some of the good mains which are on the main menu.
I would recommend this place to anyone who may have people visiting them as it is in a lovely surrounds and you can almost forget you are in Edinburgh as you look out across the water. It is quite pricy for lunch but you can tell the food is fresh so it is worth paying a wee but more for it.

Very simple but very good food. The menu was excellent with loads of options that I would have liked to have tried. I started with Moules Mariniere which were the best I've ever eaten. For main course I had Sea Bass with fennel and orange marmalade - the Bass was excellent but the marmalade didn't bring as much to the dish as I'd expected.
Excellent service - our waiter was friendly, attentive and looked a bit like Keanu Reeves in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (most excellent).
