Ginger Express, 134 Ferry Road, EH6 4PQ, Edinburgh

I had a Chinese from the Ginger Express at the weekend while posed in front of the telly for X Factor and in all honesty the two merge perfectly! To start the quick delivery and only a pound! Along with the amazing waft of food as I carried it from the door to kitchen. The portion size is just perfect with everything cooked to perfection. I had the sweet chilli chicken (I highly recommend). While my bf had the thai curry (hot hot hot). we shared fried rice, chips and a portion of roasted cashew nuts.

Because we ordered over £15 worth of food we had a choice of starter (free). We chose crispy seaweed mmmmmm... sorry drifted off there! (obv free prawn crackers). To our surprise they had also thrown in a bag of free spring rolls. I have since been back and had the sweet and sour Cantonese and the orange chicken. No complaints to either. It's great value for money - just your typical cheap takeout Chinese that won't let you down especially after a long day... enjoy.
