Henry J Beans, Rutland Street, EH1 2AE, Edinburgh

I went here for lunch at the weekend as we couldnt get into any other place in the West End before the rugby. Luckily we are practically the only table in the place to start off with but not even that could help with the level of service. We had a table booked for around 8 people but in the end we had about 16 people with us (not all were eating, only about 8/10 people were eating)

Service was so slow about a 45 minute wait for an average burger. Trying to get drinks was a whole other matter - they had 2 staff on and they could not have been slower. The bar wasnt really that busy and well for a rugby Saturday you would think they would be better prepared but it took on average 5/10 mins to actually get a drink from the bar.

Dont think I will rush back here - the prices were alright. Cheaper than usual west end but would prefer to go somewhere with better service.

Burgers were around £8/9 and they are pretty much all they have on the menu along with a few deep fried starters which did not look appealing. My burger was not too bad - but for the price I would go to Cambridge or somewhere rather than go back here.
