Ivory Lounge, 126-128 George Street, EH2 4JN, Edinburgh

I went here for lunch a couple of months ago as I was interested to see what the refurb would be like (Ivory Lounge used to be Bar 38 for those who didn't know).

My partner and I both went for burgers which were nothing special but tasted fine. With a couple of soft drinks and coffees thrown in we both paid just over a tenner each - pretty reasonable prices for the restaurant's location.

I haven't been here for drinks since the refurb (mainly because the previous Bar 38's crowd included hairdressers, stag/hen parties and George Street wannabes). I have also recently been assured that the aforementioned crowd still haven't changed so I doubt I will pop in for drinks anytime soon.

Nevertheless, for a quick bite to eat I would consider going back to the Ivory Lounge.
