Kampong Ah Lee Layasian Delight, 28 Clerk Street, EH8 9HX, Edinburgh

Very small but busy restaurant. The decor is basic - wooden tables and chairs. The food is excellent, portions are large and value for money. There is a large menu choice, so it will take some time to decide what you want. A good mixture of Chinese and traditional Malaysian fare is available. Meat is often served on the bone - so the flavours are wonderful - but be careful when you chew! Make sure you order some Roti Cenai for starters which is served with a delicious curry dipping sauce. This place is popular with students so you might need to book to make sure you get a table. Well worth a visit.
