Katie’s Diner was established in 2000 by Geoff and Kate Ness.
Over the years our reputation has grown and we have built up a large base of loyal customers. We have been recommended as one of the best American style restaurants in Edinburgh by “The List” magazine.
We have resisted pressure to expand, preferring instead to continue to offer you personal service as if you were in our own home with Kate cooking and Geoff serving.
We are especially proud of our steaks and burgers, sourcing the best Scottish beef available.

Steak Menu
All our steaks come from prime Scottish cattle under 24 months old and are served with Katie’s coleslaw, salad garnish and a choice of fries or buttered new potatoes.

Burger Menu
100% pure ground Scottish steak mince burgers in a bun with salad and our own burger dressing served with Katie’s coleslaw and fries.
Burgers are a minimum 8ozs (pre cooked).
