La P'tite Folie, 61 Frederick Street, EH2 1LH, Edinburgh
I like this place. Decked out with black and white photos, it just seems to have Parisian feel (granted I may have been sucked in by the name!). The service is always good, the portions generous and the menu is excellent on its own but the specials are also abundant. There is also a good selection of wine.
I have always found the price to be very reasonable for an evening meal, but went there for a lunch and found it to be almost cheap, and while the menu had obviously been down sized there was still a good variety.
There is another restaurant in the chain located in the West End in a more elegant and larger tudor building, I found that this some how detracted from the more intamate feel of this restaurant.
