What can I say except this is possibly the worst restaurant I have had the misfortune to eat in for a long time. I went with my partner's work colleagues (not out of choice) and I should at this point state they, unlike me, seemed to enjoy it - perhaps this was linked to the amount of alcohol they had had before we arrived.

Stepping into this restaurant is like entering a canteen covered in terrible ancient Rome frescos (ceiling as well)/ garden centre with copious romanesque plastic statues drapped in cheap fairy lights. We entered at 8.30 on a Friday night and although the restaurant is large there were only 4 other diners. So far, so bad. The waiting staff were rude and despondent - probably because they have to work there every night. The food was not that expensive but it was dreadful. The pasta bland and flavourless, the mozarella salad tired and the olives dry and tasteless. As a previous reviewer mentions all dishes appear to come with chips, not even a continental french fry, but stodgy chips that looked like they were straight out of the freezer. When we asked about the red wine, we were advised by the waitress not to have the Merlot as an earlier customer had complained that theirs was fizzy!

However, all of this pales in comparison to the slightly surreal experience of having the option to perform karaoke during the meal!

Maybe the combination of mediocre food and karaoke is just lost on me, but I think I can pretty much guarantee that I will not be going back any time soon.

Happy and helpfull service, the menu could probably be a bit more extensive, prices are reasonable and the food is very tasty. Would recommend the Saturday nights, the main waiter has a sing along then sticks the karaoke on (later when everyone has eaten).

Perhaps the best Italian restaurant in Scotland. Giovanni from Roma.
