Hidden away down in Newhaven this place does proper gigantic portions of fish and chips. Don't be ashamed to order a "lady's portion" as this will be plenty big enough to satisfy even John Daly.

A gem of a pub. This is place is lovely, the staff were very friendly, but in no way overburdening. They do a monster portion of fish and chips, which is definitely only for real men! I very much recommend that you visit this place.

Three of us dined here last night at approx 8.15pm as usual the place was busy. We ordered the haddock mornay, ladies breaded haddock, homemade beefburger, garlic bread and two banana splits, two pints of coke and a Bacardi and coke the total cost was £37.25. We all enjoyed the food in particular the fish, it was so fresh. Despite it being busy the service was very good! We were greeted and seated with in minutes. Orders taken promptly and food served quicker than expected. Staff are nice and friendly and very effeciant. I have been a couple of times before and enjoyed it, however for my guests it was their first visit and they too said they would return. This restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is very near the harbour, perfect for a short walk afterwards. I recommend this place it's great!
