Restaurant at the Bonham, 35 Drumsheugh Gardens, EH3 7RN, Edinburgh

I'm not sure that there is much point in reviewing a restaurant that everyone knows is great and declaring it as "great" but after experienceing this brillaint restaurant first hand on the back so many recomendations I was surprised to see that it had not been reviewed on Edinburghmenus. To correct this traversty please see below:

A fantastic restaurant with attentive staff and brilliant food. Despite being in a hotel the restaurant manages to maintain its own identity avoiding the often encountered error of becoming a sterile hotel eatery. We visited for lunch with a token offering 4 meals (two courses each and two bottles of wine) for £80 in total. The food was perfectly cooked and well served and more importantly at no point were you looked upon as poor peasants who couldnt afford the real menu.

All in all a wonderful restaurant with much to compliment it on. I am not sure how long the offer lasts - but its well worth a look!
