Was in here for a client dinner a little while ago. Odd setting as pretty much everything is for sale. Food is excellent though and the service is very good too.

It's in a furniture store so you might think it is a bit odd but the decor is pretty unique to Edinburgh, it's just a little out of the way.

I had the soup which was just right and left you wanting more, a steak which was lovely and perfectly cooked and a ginger pudidng which I ended up having two of as one or the others was full and didn't want to have theirs. We had 10 people there and none of them are so polite as to say they liked it when they didn't. It's the second year in a row we've been there with this group and it's a very well subscribed lunch out. (last year was a bit rowdier)

Not too expensive individually, good value, interesting room although it would have been more fun there if it had been busier. Will certainly go again but like I say, you'd have to be in the area, I wouldn't go there just for the food when there are other options in the city centre.
