Went here with my husband the other day and just in time for the pre-theater dinner. Unfortunately we were just going to a movie but the deal suited us fine. I think it was two courses, a starter and a main, for 9.99. A pretty good deal I thought.

He had a greek salad and I had the chicken liver and bacon pate with bacon to start. The salad was good, chock full of nice feta cheese and a good deal of olives. The pate was ok, not as bacony as I anticipated (which was good b/c I am not a huge fan of really porky pate) and it came with thick toasted baguette and butter.

For the mains I had the sweet chili prawn salad and he had the steak with black pepper sauce. The prawns were plentiful and well cooked. I love the contrast of hot and cold foods, the hot prawns over the cool salad. I was disappointed of the huge pool of hot sweet chili sauce at the bottom of my bowl and the sauce could have been a bit lighter on the sugar. Overall, a decent dish. The steak was well cooked as well but could have used a lot more seasoning. The sauce was not as flavourful as it could have been but came with a huge beauiful baked potato.

We were too stuffed for dessert. Overall, a good place with decent prices. I would recommend if you are in the are especially if there in time for the pre-dinner deal!

This place has the potential to be good but I have been disappointed several times here with risottos being undercooked and other dishes being too rich. It can be quite hit or miss depending on the menu you get.

This place has to get a great rating from me!

I went in last night with no notice to see if they had a table for 3. At first it looked like we were going to be unlucky, but they decided that if we could order and be finished in an hour, a table was ours. This suited us fine. We ran slightly over time, but instead of being abrupt with us, they offered to move us to the front of the restaurant to have desert and finish the wine, but not in a rude way. So top marks from me for hospitality.

The food was, in the words of my other half - "yummy!!" The vegetarian fajitas were great and so was the burger and chips I had. They were very generous with the condiments on the side without them even being asked for.

The desert was the icing on the cake - a perfect white chocolate cheesecake with butterscotch sauce... indulgent but not sickly. Only one disappointment... we only ordered 1!!!

£46 for 3 mains, 1 desert and a nice bottle of house white - no complaints about the price either.

The staff were very nice and cheerful at all times.

I would heartly recommend this place to anyone - this is my second visit, and I've yet to be disappointed.

Just been back a week ago - they fitted us in last minute due to being disappointed elsewhere, and not one of the 6 of us had any complaints.

Food was great, and the wine was great aswell.

Top marks again!
