This is an expensive restaurant but definitely worth a visit for a special occasion.
I especially like how they serve you oysters between your starter and main course - I felt very posh indeed!
The dining area is beautiful and very grand, with each table having its own private booth. We had a lovely meal here and the service was top notch.

I've eaten here about 3 times now. Lunch x 3 and each time I've wondered why it was so expensive. It's been quite slow each time and although the setting is nice and the service is fine I've never enjoyed the food so much that I feel I should rush back again. It's not even in the top 3 joints on George st. Never mind the city.

I agree with Rachybaby this place is well worth a visit although it is expensive with most mains being around £15-20.
The lay out is great at there are lots of booths so even being there as a part of six which we were you dont feel like there is anyone else in the restaurant.
I have the mussels to start with and the portion size was HUGE! I thought they had brought my main instead. Others had the duck salad, pate and for mains we had mainly steaks, Beef Wellington and fish and chips but all looked very good.
Its a nice place for a special occasion - or if you want your parents to take you somewhere nice!

Four of us ate here and each one of us thought that the food was delicious (all three courses). Shall go back.

Was looking forward visiting Tempus but was very disappointed. The service was slow and unhelpful. We were not informed of what dishes were unavailable and of course tried to order the very same dishes. I was delivered a starter I never ordered. My partner's £17 main course Halibut was either off or just tasted plain terrible. No apology offered. Was then charged for starter we never ordered, Halibut we never ate and complained about and charged £5 for a double Macchiato. Effectively £90 for a very unenjoyable and substandard meal. Far off the pace as far as George Street standards go. Definitely won't be back :-(

I was in here with some friends I hadn't seen for a while. We met about 4pm in the afternoon while it was still quite quiet. We had a round of drinks before noticing the cocktail menu. The better half highly recommended the Lemon Meringue Pie with its flambeéd foam while I plumped for the Breakfast Martini with Blueberry Jam - it even came with toast(!).
We decided to stay for some nibbles which, although we thought it was quite expensive, I've had far worse meals for more money on George Street. The staff were receptive but unimposing. It made a great afternoon for catching up with old pals.
