We got takeaway from here on Saturday night. The restaurant seemed fully booked and there was also quite a few people round the small bar by the entrance either waiting for a table or ordering takeaway. As it was so busy we didn't hang around choosing what to order - we quickly chose a monkfish and a chicken dish and rice and escaped to the pub for 15 minutes while it was prepared.
The food was great. Excellent even. I don't eat a lot of Thai food, but from my experience, I would say that this is a lot more spicy than from most British Thai restaurants. The chicken dish was so spicy it gave me hiccoughs! Would have been embarassing if I'd been dining in the restaurant!
I suppose the food was more expensive than most takeaways, and the portions weren't huge, but Thai Lemongrass's emphasis is clearly more on the restaurant side of the business and this shows in the quality of the food. I'll be back.

Good food and service; for both eat in and take away. One of the best Thai restaurants around. The atmosphere is most congenial and the staff are friendly. One wonderful feature is the ceiling fans. They help to keep the air moving (obviously) but unlike normal fans - which blow air down - these suck it up. Therefore they move the air without creating a draft across you or your food - a wonderful touch.

This is the best Thai restaurant I have ever been to! The food is top notch and the service is exceptional. The staff are very attentive and friendly without being too in your face. It's a little on the expensive side, so it's always saved for a special occasion. I would highly recommend the Thai green chicken curry, it's delicious!

This place is the best Thai at reasonable prices I've experienced this side of the equator! The flavours are all clean and crisp, the salads are a special treat for those who love tang and zest and their soups are all devine! This place is worth exclaiming over!!! Staff are friendly and while the dining room can feel a little vast if you're in on a slow night it does not detract in any real way. Try it and make it a regular I say.
