Specialises in gourmet burgers, with over 20 different burgers-combos on the menu, and they really are quite tasty. Generally has quite a lively atmosphere and is good fun.

What can I say about this place that hasn't been said before?
It's a pub, gots them a telly, burgers *slightly* cheaper than GBK just a stone's throw away. From good ol' classic beef, chicken and bean burgers from £5.95 to wallet-bustin' 7.50/7.95 Chicken Camembert (my fave), Portabella 'Shroom, and BBQ Bacon, the food is great, the atmosphere jovial and the drinks are flowin'.
My only beef with the place is the size of it. It's a regular watering hole for many after hours businesses, so obviously post-work hours on Fridays are one to avoid as it can get pretty busy and cramped, but for quality quickie pub food, the Cambridge comes highly recommended.
Got the urge? Come to the Camburgeidge.

As Mdavidson says it's good fare (they only do burgers). I'm surprised he knows the numbers of items on the menu mind you. Usually busy and they're very accommodating and well located. Food stops at half 9 though so late diners beware.
I've had several of the burgers here and they're always very tasty. Service is Quick and the chips are fine as well. always filling for what you pay as well.

I have to pre-empt this review by revealing that I love a good burger and so naturally I will be biased! The Cambridge is a great pub with a wide selection of burgers - I have tried several varieties and I can honestly say that in general they are all delicious, whether it be a beef, chicken or vegetarian bean burger.
The staff are friendly and the atmosphere relaxed, my only gripe is that they are often a little slow in cleaning the tables, which would be fine except the burgers are so full of delicious but often sloppy extras that the tables do become a little sticky!
Because the food is so reasonably priced (around £6 for a burger) and because they show sport on the T.V. it does become quite busy and the tables are often taken, especially during weekend afternoons. I am a little confused by digitalspaghetti's review as I don't think that there is an outside area to sit in good weather nor I have I ever seen anything but burgers available - are they talking about the same place?
The only other point I should mention is one that I noticed at the weekend: It occurred to me that while they have a disabled toilet, I think (and I may be wrong here, as presumably they have tested these things) that the door actually looks too narrow to fit a wheelchair through, also this toilet is at the back of the pub, which means that you either have to negotiate up some stairs from the bar area or enter through the back and negotiate down them to get to the bar. However, although I thought I should highlight this, this is just my interpretation and I am willingly to be corrected by someone who is better informed.
I will definitely be returning.

2nd best burgers in town, what it slightly loses out to the best (which incidentally is Bells Diner in Stockbridge) it claws back with the huge selection of toppings, which is more than you would ever think possible. On top of offering a great selection of burgers it is a fantastic, cosy, friendly pub with a great selection of beers and regularly changing cask ales.

Great little food serving pub only minutes from Edinburgh city centre. The Cambridge bar is situated on a quiet street away from the bustle of the town. The menu consists of burgers only, which is great if you like burgers. They offer a large selection of toppings and themed burgers, I have tried quite a few and all were really decent. Their chips are great too, really chunky and fresh. I would recommend ordering one side of chips between two, with a hearty burger it is difficult to manage them by yourself. The Cambridge has a healthy drinking crowd too, which is great for atmosphere but means that it can be difficult to get a table during busy times.

Great pub with a great atmosphere. A nice outside area to sit if the weather is warm, and a great selection of real ales. The burgers are to die for, and real chips too! Also very good freshly made sandwiches at good prices.
