Great place to go in the winter! You may have to book though, this place tends to get busy, especially at the weekends after a leisurely walk around Cramond or over to the Island (make sure you know the Tide times though...). Good atmosphere, log fire, low ceilings, lovely separate bar area. Beers etc are not the household names but specialist brews which I am told are nice and pretty cheap! Meals are also pretty good - I would recommend the Steak and Ale Pie or the Highlander - tend to be generous proportions. Good for everyone really and family friendly.

What more can I say except for ditto to Naomi's review?

I've been to eat here numerous times over the last 11 years, and never had a bad experience.

Great looking building inside and out. Great suroundings.

We always come here for the fresh brewed beer and traditional walk we do down the almond river to see our sail boats and scenery. The traditional meals are superb and your staff go out of their way with service with such inviting smiles. Thank you. Jack and Pam
