Links Bar is a distinctly average sports bar.
It's good if you want to go to watch some sport or are part of a stag do - that's it really.
Food is OK but basic.
Instead of the Links I would recommend going to the Golf Tavern which is also a sports bar and only two minutes further down the road - it is ten times better in terms of food, service and atmosphere.

We went here for a work do in the summer and was very surprised at what they laid on for us and the cost of it. We had a bbq and salad which was brilliant at very little cost per head and they were more than happy to lay on drinks promotions. It is a great laid back bar so don't expect anything too smart but a good place for a random night out and they are able to cater for large parties at low cost which is always a bonus.
