The food was fine and the location good, but the staff were too noisy. It was a quiet time of day and the barman and waitress just kept talking - loudly! But other than that, it makes a nice change to Cafe Grande.

We made a short notice booking and also changed the time and the staff were really amicable about it all. A really nice restaurant in a good location. Something other than the usual Italians you seem to get the further out of town you go. Food was excellent, price was consistent for the quality of the food. I'd definitely go back ...and they've got a function room.

The restaurant was full and had a good buzz. I had excellent homemade beef burger with chips which were thin and crispy, just how I like them. My friend had very good salmon and roasted vegtables.
The service was good and the music not too loud. If you are in the area and wondering where to eat I would recommend here.

I dropped in for dinner just the other week and found a very busy little restaurant. I was a bit worried when a hen party turned up - there didn't seem to be anywhere for them to go, but they were whisked away to a private room downstairs.
The food was perfectly acceptable, but not outstanding, I had a homemade burger, which was very tasty, but let down by the frozen chips served with it. Others in my party had the monkfish and the lamb tagine and made all the right sounds as they stuffed them down. Alas, the dessert choice wasn't very inspiring, so we all skipped pudding.
Service was good, the food turned up hot and the jugs of water are packed with green stuff (lime, mint, cucumber) which give them a nice fresh taste. On the whole our group of diners was quite satisfied with the meal - I'll probably go back.
