The Stockbridge Tap, 2 Raeburn Place, EH4 1HN, Edinburgh
I have only been here for drinks but it is a nice change from across the road at Hectors. The bar staff are very friendly and knowledgable about the drinks on offer. You can nearly always get a table and the atmosphere isnt too bad either. It is a place for one or two after work drinks rather than popping in for a few on your way out on the town. Its a nice place to go to unwind before you go home.
I havent had the food here yet but I have been tempted by the menu which have a very strong scottish theme.
Great selection of bottles beers, ales and whiskys!

The Stockbridge Tap, 2 Raeburn Place, EH4 1HN, Edinburgh
Until August 2008 this was Bert's Bar, but it has since re-opened as the Stockbridge Tap and is now an excellent pub, with a great range of real ales, whisky and bottled beers.
All of the staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is much improved now there aren't multiple TV screens etc.
The menu is based on seasonal produce, and everything I have tried so far has been incredibly good.
Well worth visiting.
