My local and I love it!

I have spent many an afternoon in here using the wireless, stroking the pub dog (he is called Carson and is very friendly and cuddly) and eating McCoys - happy days :)

They only do pies in terms of food but they are so good!

It is the closest thing I have found to a friendly, comfortable countryside pub that I have found in Edinburgh and I am so pleased that is my local because it is great.

Highly recommended.

The Thistle does great pies. And tidy barmaids. And is yards from my gaff. What more could you want. A beer garden? Oh it has one of them too.
