I really like the William Street food co.

They do my fave sandwich for me - peanut butter and cucumber - yum.

Tends to be really good value but be warned there is one woman who works there who is stingey on sandwich fillings and charges more than anyone else in there! (she is a bit plump with glasses and light brown hair - be warned!) So if you go there avoid being served by her.

They always have weird and wonderful soups to try - sometimes they are more weird than wonderful but there is always variety.

They do a great meal deal - snadwich with a bag of walkers crisps (or a peice of fruit) and a bottle of water for £2.50. Much better value for money than Boots!

I would recommend - if you fancy a change from William Street - do NOT go to Nicky's up the road, the staff are rude and my friend has been served a mouldy pasta dish before! Try Herbies further up william Street or Sylvanis (not sure on spelling) across the road for the William Street Food Co.

Their baked potatoes are usually enormous and they pack them with their great, fresh fillings. Yum!

I agree with the previous reviewer on the constant variety available in terms of soup, however compared to the meal deal or the potatoes, the soup is probably the worst value for money out of anything on their menu. (The "large" soup is served in a medium-sized coffee cup.)

That is the only, tiny point of contention I have with this otherwise wonderful lunch spot.
