Came here on Thursday for pre-MacBeth meal for 20 people - an evening I'd organised so I really wanted it to be good.
Zucca was excellent.
Very attentive staff, wonderfully organised and friendly and ensured we were all in and out in 75 minutes having had a lovely meal and our glasses were never empty.
The food? Wonderful. I had the Autumn Salad (beetroot, rocket, walnut, goats cheese) and the trout served with capers and spinach. Both were exceptional. Other starters included Tomato & mozarella salad, soup, wild mushroom. Mains were Lamb Stew, lemon & thyme chicken, Risotto.
Everyone was delighted with the food including the desserts (tiramisu, Italian Meringue, cheesecake)
Nothing on the menu was especially complicated but it was prepared brilliantly. The menu is £16.95 for 2 courses and £19.95 for three courses. House wine £15.95 (red or white).
I really recommend and it ensured the evening was a great success, which was just as well as MacBeth wasn't very good - a BLOND Lady MacBeth - come on... and those witches - jeez!

We had a £11 for 2 course lunch (now £18 Christmas lunch).
Service was great, helpful and friendly.
Restaurant was nice and really confy, warm atmosphere.
Food was fantastic: really innovative and different. Impressive presentation of the different dishes. Tasted great. Even the bread they bring you at the beginning of the meal was amazingly presented and tasted so good. Definitely great Italian food at an affordable price!
Will come back again and again.

We ate here on New Year's Eve - it was a great experience!
Both the quality of ingredients & recipes were very good, in fact the starter & main were so good we all had dessert even though we were really full!
We were enjoying it so much we even ordered a second bottle of wine to prolong the experience.
Highly recommended, excellent food & wine, attentive service & great value for money.
