I tried the Guru's food one night at my friends. I had some tandoori mixed grill, meat moist and tender and delicious. Methi goust was very tasty and there was a lot of it. First time for me but they've been several times! Portions are generous (prices a wee bit more expensive) but well worth it as one main and one rice could easily feed two people. They deliver and now have an online ordering service... Brilliant!!!

After living in Bruntsfield for a year, I've visited this place for breakfasts, lunches, snacks and dinners. Everytime it is a joy to behold, friendly staff and varied food to suit whatever time of day, a must for locals and visitors alike. And fantastic on Sunday evenings (live music).

The Dell Inn

I have been to the Dell Inn on a number of occasions and have always found the food excellent, service quick and staff friendly and welcoming. My husband loves to try the ales on each visit, and our children are made to feel very welcome. I love that the Dell Inn has books for them to read and pictures to colour in. Lovely beer garden too. Reading some of the previous comments, I think some people are never happy unless they're complaining about something.

I love the Ghurka Brigade. The food is wonderful, and being Nepalese rather than the more common Indian restaurants has lots of new stuff to try. And I think I've tried just about everything! I've never had a bad experience, either dining or take away. The staff are very polite and helpful -- they've even kept the restaurant open just for us so we could finish our meal, without even mentioning to us that closing time had been and gone!
It is one of the restaurants where while I have a few favourite dishes I always want to try something new, as every single meal I've had here has been superb. My only problem now is I've tried everything and I'm having to loop back around on the menu!

This is a great local restaurant and along with many other neighbours I am a frequent visitor. Great fresh, well cooked food, friendly and helpful staff. Recommend the mixed mezes and turkish white!

Oink do one thing and they do it very well- Hog Roast rolls! 2 menu choices make choosing pretty easy- standard or an extra 25p for some crackling. Choose from one of two sauces and your done. Good for takeaway but there is room for maybe 10 or so folk to squeeze into the one table and high stool bar area.
The pork was tasty and the crackling fantastic. Would have been 5 stars if a smile from the staff was more readily available!

Next time you feel your tummy rumbling or you just fancy a quick break from shopping, I recommend the food here. The prices are not too expensive either, especially considering their good location and the excellent standard of food you are guaranteed to enjoy. Buon Appetito.

I was in last evening for a meal, what an atmosphere, what service and what great food. Simple menu selling good quality food, I'll be back!
