BrewDog Edinburgh, 143–145 Cowgate, EH1 1JS, Edinburgh

If you are after a great selection of craft beer and a great atmosphere in Edinburgh, this is the place to go.

The decor is very funky, a really industrial feel to it. Leather sofas, bar stools, no TV on, connect 4 and other games to be played and I always end up having a chat with other drinkers.

Have been in a few times, they have a selection of their own beers as well as guest beers on tap as well as in bottles. Everything is superb, you really get your money's worth from craft brewers like this and the staff really know their stuff as well, it turns out they go and work in the brewery to find out about the process before they get behind the bar. The love that goes into their beers comes through and it's great that they push other guest beers as well.

There really is something here for all beer drinkers and as well as the changing Brewdog/Guest beer selection you have things like barley wine which make for an interesting addition. Even some of the strongest beers in the world (Sink the Bismark) are really worth a try.

Highly recommend Hardcore IPA, 5am Saint, Tokyo and trashy blonde. Haven't tried the food yet, but it looks really nice and even have a pizza and beer pairing menu which sounds like a good idea.
