What an awful place. I had to wait 10mins after walking in the door before being seated. I ordered a coke- which came flat, from a 2 litre bottle probably opened sometime the week before. When I complained about it and asked to change my drink, they said, "but it's already been poured, you can't change it". I kicked up a fuss and eventually the huffy waiter grabbed the drinks and slammed them down on the bar, not 2 metres away. This place should be avoided like the plague. Eat here at your peril, or if you like abusive staff! Needless to say, we walked out.

Came here yesterday for a family lunch and was slightly disappointed. I have to say that the waiters looked as if they had a boozing party the night before. They did not seem to be hospitable and when the food was served, they all huddled together and started chatting away in their corner. The food was however well cooked but slightly small. Great location but did not feel welcomed.

The staff were friendly enough but looked like they could have used at least one more waiter to deal with the rush at 8pm on a Saturday during the Festival. Needed four requests to get a jug of water. Food was very ordinary. Nothing horribly wrong but absolutely nothing to get excited about. No flair or interest to the dishes. Everything just about adequate.

Attended a birthday dinner here, the staff were fairly efficient, but they could have given a smile now and then. The food was average and quiet bland, and very expensive. The portions were small. The place was small and found it quite squashy, we were a party of 14, crammed into a corner. We really could not recommend it to anyone. We will not be back here again.

Beware when you order food here. I ordered the steak diane, which was ok, the waiter offered me vegetables with this and gave me a choice, one being asparagus. My partner ordered pasta and was asked if he would like salad with this. Once the bill arrived we had been charged £4.90 for the asparagus (which was tinned)and extra £4.00 for the salad.
